The Hype Suite subscription

Hype Suite is one subscription that covers all four Hype apps — Hype Discounts, Hype Bundles, Hype Upsell and Hype Cart Drawer. It is billed on the same paid-order bands as a single app: $49 per 30-day cycle at Starter, $99 at Growth, $149 at Scale, and $0 while your store stays at or under 100 paid orders in the cycle.

When it is worth it

Compare the Suite price at your tier against the apps you actually use, added together at the same tier. The Plan page prices both choices at your store's live order count, side by side, so you can see the answer without doing the arithmetic. The Suite is always cheaper than buying all four, and always at least the price of the most expensive single app.

You do not have to install all four to subscribe. If two apps already cost more than the Suite at your tier, the Suite is the cheaper choice today and the other two cost nothing extra when you want them.

One app holds it, the others honor it

You buy the Suite inside one app — whichever one you were in when you approved it. That app is the holder: it is the one Shopify bills, and the only one that can change or cancel the subscription.

The other three recognize it automatically. Their Plan pages stop offering you a plan and show Included in Hype Suite instead, with:

the tier you are currently on,
the date access is confirmed until,
an Open button that takes you to the app that bills you.

There is nothing to activate in the other apps and no code to enter. Install one, open it, and it is covered.

Upgrading to the Suite

From the app that already bills you, open Plan and choose Upgrade to Hype Suite. Shopify replaces the existing subscription with the Suite one when you approve it.

Do this from the right app. If you pay for one Hype app and open a different one, that app's Plan page will warn you: "You already pay for [app] separately. Upgrade to the Hype Suite from that app so the two subscriptions are replaced rather than stacked." Buying the Suite from the wrong app leaves you paying for both.

If you already pay for two Hype apps separately

Merging two separate Hype subscriptions into one Suite is not something the app can do for you today. Cancel one and upgrade the other, or ask support to sort out the timing so you are not paying twice. The Plan page detects the situation and warns you rather than letting you stack a third subscription on top.

What happens if you uninstall the holder

The Suite is billed through the holding app, so uninstalling it ends the subscription. The other apps keep working until the access date they were last given — the holder's current period end plus three days — and then stop.

If you want to keep the Suite but stop using the app that holds it, do not uninstall it. Leave it installed and unused, or move the subscription first by cancelling and re-subscribing from the app you want to keep. There is no automatic hand-off of a Suite from one app to another.

Cancelling

Cancel the Suite from the Plan page of the app that holds it. Access to all four apps continues to the end of the cycle you are in. See Cancelling and refunds.
