My changes aren't visible on the storefront yet

This is expected, and it is Shopify's cache rather than a Hype problem. Storefront pages are served from a cache that a save in Hype cannot clear, so a change usually reaches shoppers within minutes and occasionally takes longer. Reloading the page does not force it.
The Activation panel carries the same note: "Activation changes reach shoppers when Shopify refreshes its page cache, usually within minutes, occasionally longer."
What this affects
Everything a shopper sees: design changes, new or reordered modules, edited text, translations, activating a cart, deactivating one, and the start and end of a schedule.
What to do first
- Confirm you actually saved. The save bar at the top of the editor stays open while you have unsaved changes. If it is showing, click Save.
- Wait a few minutes, then load your storefront in a fresh browsing session — a private window is the quickest way to rule out your own browser cache.
- Check the cart's status. A cart saved but never activated shows nothing. See Activating and scheduling a cart.
What not to do
- Don't activate and deactivate repeatedly. Each flip is subject to the same delay, so you end up watching a queue of stale pages and cannot tell what is live.
- Don't assume it failed after one reload. A single refresh is the least reliable test there is.
- Don't rebuild the cart. Nothing is lost; the change is saved and waiting to be served.
Plan around it
- Schedule promotional carts a little early. A cart that goes live at midnight should be activated ahead of midnight, not at it.
- Same for the end of a window. A schedule that ends at midnight stops resolving on the next fresh render, not on the stroke.
- Test copy and design in the editor preview, which is instant and runs the real drawer. Save the storefront check for the last look.
When it isn't the cache
If nothing has changed after ten or fifteen minutes in a private window, treat it as a different problem:
- Nothing renders at all — see The drawer isn't showing on my store. The likeliest causes are the app embed being off, or being on for a different theme than the one you are viewing.
- The old cart renders instead of the new one — you may have two carts claiming the same shoppers. Check the Status and Scope columns on the home page and deactivate the one you do not want.
- You changed a market or schedule and nothing moved — confirm the cart claims the market you are browsing from, using Preview settings → Market in the editor.
A save that was rejected
One case looks like a delay but is not: if the cart holds more content than can be published, the save fails outright with "Too much content to publish (xKB of 100KB). Shorten or remove some blocks." Large Custom HTML blocks are the usual cause. Nothing reaches shoppers until the save succeeds — see Custom text and custom HTML.
