Duplicating, renaming and deleting carts

All three live in the Cart actions menu at the end of each row on the home page: Activate / Deactivate, Rename, Duplicate and Delete.

Duplicate

Duplicate makes a complete copy of the cart, named Copy of <original name>.

The copy carries across everything you built: every module and its settings, all your text, every translation, the design, behavior and advanced settings, and any A/B test with its variants.

Two things are deliberately reset:

The copy is a Draft. It is never live the moment it is created, so duplicating an active cart cannot disturb your storefront.
Its activation is reset to All markets and Always active, rather than inheriting the original's markets and schedule. Set the new cart's own targeting before you activate it, or it will collide with the original — see Activating and scheduling a cart.

Duplicating is the right way to start a market-specific or seasonal cart. Build one cart carefully, duplicate it, then change the few things that differ.

Rename

Rename opens a small dialog with a Cart name field and Save.

The name is for you. Shoppers never see it — the text at the top of the drawer is the Title field in the editor's General panel, which is a separate thing.

Names are trimmed to 120 characters, and an empty name is rejected with "Name is required".

Name carts for how you will read the list later. "Black Friday 2026 — EU" beats "Cart 3". You can also rename from inside the editor, using the Cart name field at the top of the left column.

Delete

Delete asks first: Delete cart? — "Delete "<name>"? This can't be undone."

If the cart is live, the dialog adds a second line: "This cart is live. Deleting it turns the drawer off until you activate another cart."

Read that literally. If the cart you are deleting is the only active one, your drawer stops showing and shoppers go back to your theme's cart. Activate a replacement first, then delete.

Deleting takes its analytics out of the home page's list with it. If the numbers matter to you, note them down before deleting.

There is no undo and no trash. When you want a cart out of the way but might want it back, Deactivate it instead — a draft cart costs nothing and shows nothing.

Activate and deactivate

The first item in the menu toggles the cart's status, the same as the button in the editor's header. Activating a cart whose markets and schedule collide with a live one opens the Deactivate conflicting carts? dialog first — nothing is turned off without your confirmation.

A note on the list

The home page's list shows every cart with its Status, its Scope (All markets, a market count, or the schedule window) and its numbers. Clicking a name opens the editor. See Reading the numbers.
